pacquiao vs mosley
Why not HBO? What happened? What is the plan of the Top Rank Boss? The Pacquiao vs Mosley fight on May 7, 2011 is set to be aired on TV by CBS-Showtime as a replacement for HBO Sports, which previously aired big fights of the Filipino boxing superstar.
According to Fanhouse on Friday, Manny Pacquiao’s adviser told them that the upcoming Pacquiao-Mosley WBO welterweight title bout on May 7, 2011 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas is most likely to be broadcasted by Showtime at CBS, and not anymore HBO.
According to Michael Koncz, a Canadian adviser the pound for pound king and champion Manny Pacquiao this happened because of CBS-Showtime viewer’s hip. Does it means that HBO has a little participation about the success of the previous fights promoted by Top Rank? Or does it means that this is another move to market this somehow hated match up?
Nr Koncz also quoted that it is always great working with HBO for they have been there for many years without problems. But since they are looking for changes to occur, they are moving to Showtime.
This change will surely benefit all who loved to see it live. It was said that CBS-Showtime’s viewership may reach to 115 million homes compared to HBO‘s 28 million only. Big margins aren’t it? And in addition to these, other Top Rank key boxers including, Juan Manuel Lopez, Miguel Cotto, and Brandon Rios fights this 2011 were also being reported to appear at CBS Showtime.
Wherever it maybe, the Pacquiao vs Mosley fight hype will not change as these two fighters will show what they have got. Train hard guys and give the million viewers a good fight.
